This serie of work was part of the group exhibition „Last Words from the Periphery“ supported by @theoff.space.
It is inspired and arisen from direct dialogue with the exhibition building, which stays in the periphery of Zurich, in the immediate vicinity of the ever-expanding main axis between East and South. Continuous change in the built environment. Traces in matter and its forms. The 10 inlay panels, as I call them, show a kind of plan. They are based on geometric shapes (circle and rectangle) which find their image in the inlay technique without a plan or sketch. On the polystyrene you can cut, glue or add glitter foam directly. The form, the image, the sculpture, is in a perpetual continuum on a flat plane. Laid out on the floor and integrated into the walls of the interior, it opens up a new reading of the place and the building.
